My Expedition lays line beautifully out of box, and Saltigas in general rarely need adjustment of shimming because the drag washers are on top where they won't affect the spool's position with washers wear and compression, still, I would want more flexibility in adding and removing shims in the Saltiga because I might need to tweak the line lay for one reason or another
